The Practice of Walking Meditation
We can practice walking meditation anywhere, at any speed. Conscious breathing supports of practice of being present for every step. We know that with each step, we arrive in the present moment. In walking meditation, we let go of our thoughts and worries about the past or the future. We are simply present to enjoy each step and each breath.
During our gatherings, we practice slow walking meditation. Breathing in, we step with our left foot; breathing out, we step with our right foot. With each step, we experience the miracle of walking on the Earth.
